 INTRODUCTION
As a new student at Humber College, I faced some issues when registering for the first semester, and so did my teammates. Therefore, our team decided to start from the research and uncover the pain points of other Humber students. And we designed a new version of MyHumber’s registration page. The new design is based on data that we gathered from user interviews and usability testingWe implemented users’ feedback into our latest design ensuring the new design met the user's needs and a better task flow that the users will find easy to use.

| USER INTERVIEW
We interviewed 8 current Humber College students regarding the MyHumber registration process, and the interviews were conducted remotely via Zoom. 
We focused on their current registration experience during the interview to gather information on needs and pain points. We also asked them to imagine their ideal registration process.

After the interviews, we analyzed and generated the issues using an affinity map.
The current registration page has a problem with the UI design, confusing current and future students.

What I learned
✔️ Conduct usability testing at the early stage is important. It has low risk and helps the design team to uncover the problems before putting more effort.
✔️ By generating the affinity map, I learned how to analyze qualitative data and how to work with these insights.
